Some of these pictures are very graphic. I thought about not posting them. These events did happen. Some may want to forget them, but for others there is no forgetting.  So in the interest of historical preservation, and the request of others, here they are. Also, I am not sure on the copyrights of these pictures. I am under the impression that these are all National Archive photo's. Thus public domain. If you know otherwise, please contact me and I will take them down.
