SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber.  The backbone of, and the most beloved dive-bomber of the Pacific war. Note the 4 DE's on the right resting at anchor. The 5th DE barely visible under the port wing. The other ships seem to be a hospital ship, (Middle) and 2 DD's left. From the look of the reef's, this anchorage is possibly Ulithi.
