Personal Effects
Here are some articles from the USS Greenwood that were in my father, Ted Lorence M2c possession.  Mr. Robert Daily CM1c, also contributed some priceless Artifacts to this section.

1)  1.1mm AA. Round.             37mm AA Round.
2) Same shells broken down.

3) 40mm AA round turned down, and made into a lamp body by my father in the Greenwood's Machine shop.
4) Here is an ashtray that was made by my dad on the Greenwood. It is made from a 3"50 shell casing hammered out. With 30.06 rounds and a .50 cal in the middle. Also, is the copper jackets of .50 cal rounds used to hold the smokes. Mr. Robert Daily, working along side my father, made one just like this for himself.

5) Shot glasses made by Mr. Robert Daily aboard the Greenwood. The left one is made out of a 1.1mm AA. The right a .50 Cal.

Now here is the Holy Grail of the USS Greenwood! The prize possession. It is the ships Soft Ball
used to win the 1944 DE Division championship. It is signed by the whole team. It has been
kept all these years, and graciously contributed by Mr. Robert Daily.

Jap scrip money from the PI.
